सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की बहन श्वेता सिंह कीर्ति ने शुक्रवार तड़के अपने किए कई सारे ट्वीट्स के माध्यम से रिया चक्रवर्ती को खरी-खोटी सुनाईं और उन्होंने यह कदम टीवी पर दिए रिया के इंटरव्यू के बाद उठाया। श्वेता का आरोप है कि रिया ने नेशनल मीडिया पर आकर अपनी बातों से सुशांत की छवि को बिगाड़ने का प्रयास किया।
श्वेता लिखती हैं, "तुममें हिम्मत है कि तुम मेरे इतने अच्छे भाई के निधन के बाद नेशनल मीडिया पर आकर उसकी धज्जियां उड़ा रही हो। तुम्हें क्या लगता है तुम जो ये सब कर रही हो उसे भगवान नहीं देख रहा है! मैं ईश्वर पर यकीन रखती हूं और मुझे उन पर भरोसा है, अब मैं वाकई में देखना चाहती हूं कि वह तुम्हारे साथ क्या करते हैं। हैशटैगगॉडइजविदअस हैशटैगजस्टिसफॉरसुशांतसिंहराजपूत।"

श्वेता ने ये भी कहा कि विदेश से वापस लौटने पर भी वो अपने भाई सुशांत से नहीं मिल पाई क्योंकि वो रिया से मिलने चंडीगढ़ चला गया था।.
